If you or your organisation have a heritage sample collection we would like to hear from you.

Many institutions around the world hold material samples collected from objects and sites of cultural, historic and scientific significance. These collections contain huge potential for future research and didactic purposes, and yet their existence is often little known, and their value under recognised. As a result, they are often critically threatened. ICCROM is undertaking this survey to get a better picture of how samples collections are managed and used, and how their preservation and access might be enhanced.
